Treatments in Primary Care
Primary Care takes place at the PROMIS Rehabilitation Clinic, set in serene countryside near Canterbury, Kent. Specific treatments are offered for patients in need of individual care, with associated problems relating to alcohol abuse, drug dependency, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, overeating), depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, gambling, ocd and other addictive or compulsive behaviors.
Assessment
Assessment of patients at PROMIS is undertaken by our specialist Medical and Psychiatric and Therapy team.
Detox
Patients suffering from the physical effects of substance abuse are cared for in our detox unit and given a given an individually tailored medication plan. At PROMIS our nursing staff provides 24 hour service and support each patient in comfort in order to minimise the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
PROMIS is registered with the Commission for Social Care Improvement. Referrals for
Primary Care are accepted from any concerned person or health organisation
