Nini is a BACP Accredited psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working across diverse mental health settings. After earning an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich, Nini embarked on a journey that has spanned multiple roles, each deepening a commitment to supporting those facing life’s toughest challenges.

Initially carving a career in I.P law, this legal expertise dovetailed with a passion for mental health, leading to Nini being appointed as a Hospital Manager, where understanding mental health diagnoses and treatments became second nature.  Nini was accredited by The Law Society to represent psychiatric patients appealing their detention at First Tier Tribunals.  Over the years Nini has also held a number of voluntary positions including supervisory roles in crisis care, such as Saneline, and developed a speciality in grief counselling for families and end of life care in London hospices.

Setting up in private practice after working as a therapist at a GP’s surgery, Nini has spent over a decade treating a wide range of clients with presenting issues including depression, grief, loss and anxiety, accepting referrals from corporate and charity sectors including Victim Support Homicide. With a focus on coercive and controlling behaviour, Nini was instructed to write expert reports in a number of cases to submit to the Crown Court for the defense.

Now part of the therapeutic team at Hay Farm, Nini draws on a wealth of experience to help clients navigate the complex interplay between mental health and recovery. Hay Farm’s unique, supportive environment offers the perfect setting to guide clients towards lasting change, a mission Nini is proud to champion.
